Network Manager

We are looking to hire the following professional for our Middle East & Africa Region.
Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements include but are not limited to

Effectively negotiates and manages complex, competitive contractual relationships with providers/vendors according to prescribed guidelines in support of global and regional network strategies (*).
Manage day to day provider operations, either direct or through network business partners. Ensures operational efficiency for all network processes and infrastructure thorough proactive provider education and collaboration with AGB Service Operations. Supports Presentation and RFI/RFP requests
Executes regional-specific (Middle East, India) strategies and tactics in response to market expectations. Collaborate with regional peers to effect overall global strategy.
Responsible for understanding and managing medical cost issues and initiating appropriate action from the provider perspective.
Key contributor to enhanced provider service solution, including development and/or management of process and technical solutions (*).
Meets established timelines for quote turn around targets
Initiate legal reviews as needed; ensure all required reviews completed by appropriate functional areas(*).
Skill/Experience Requirements
Detail oriented with strong project management skills, ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Able to meet tight deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and quickly learn new processes.
Strong leadership and negotiation skills. Solid business acumen including monitoring of key performance indicators.
Knowledge of Aetna’s products and systems.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to make provider, broker and client presentations and effectively represent AGB.
UAE driving license is a must.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree.
MBA/Master’s Degree Preferred.
Background/Experience Desired
Must possess a successful track record negotiating hospital, provider and/or vendor agreements.
5+years of managed care/healthcare leadership experience.
Comprehensive understanding of hospital and physician financial and operational issues and how to leverage technology to achieve quality, cost containment, and network access.
